Handling your personal data carefully is a top priority at Mayer & Cie. GmbH & Co. KG. In processing it we abide by the statutory provisions of the Basic Regulation on Data Protection (DSGVO) and the corresponding national provisions.
When you visit our website the web servers save temporarily and as a standard procedure for the purpose of system security the connection data of the requesting computer, the web pages of ours that you visit, the date and duration of your visit, the identification data of the browser and operating system used and the website from which you visit us.

This dataset consists of:

3. What is Personal Data
Personal data is all information relating to an identified or identifiable person. A person is deemed identifiable who can be identified directly or indirectly, especially by means of allocation to an ID, such as a name. Personal data includes information such as your name, your address, your e-mail address and your phone number. Statistical information that cannot be connected with you either directly or indirectly, such as the popularity of individual website pages or the number of visitors to a page, does not constitute personal data.

4. Protection of Minors
Our website is not aimed at minors and we do not knowingly collect the personal data of minors. If persons aged under 16 send us personal data this is only permitted if the parent or guardian has agreed in person or has agreed to the consent given by the minor. 6. Rights of Persons Affected

6.1. Right to Information and Data Transferability
You are entitled at all times, in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO, to information about any personal data of yours that we process.
If the automated data processing is based on your consent or on a contractual relationship in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 b) DSGVO, you are entitled on the basis of Art. 20 Abs. 1 DSGVO to demand to be sent any personal data of yours that we hold in a structured, standard, machine-readable format or to have this data sent to a third-party system. You are thus entitled to have your data transferred directly.

6.2. Right to Correction, Limitation (Blocking) and Deletion You are also entitled, in accordance with Articles 16–18 DSGVO, to demand from us a correction, limitation (blocking) or deletion of your personal data if we have processed the data incorrectly or if there is a ground for limiting further data processing or if the data processing has become unlawful for various reasons or if its storage is impermissible on other legal grounds. Please note that your right to data deletion may be limited by statutory data retention requirements.

Right of Objection If our data processing is based solely on our justified interest as per Art. 6 Para. 1 f) DSGVO, you have the right to object to the data processing in accordance with Art. 21 Para. 1 DSGVO. To enable you to apply for a job with Mayer & Cie. online we have an e-mail address, http://www.mayercie.de/unternehmen/karriere-ausbildung/offene-stellen, to which you can submit your application. It is a separate web page accessed via the headers Company (Unternehmen) and Career (Karriere). Your electronic application data goes to the appropriate personnel department and is relayed solely to the relevant department or personnel. All concerned will treat your application documents with due care and as strictly confidential. The data is processed in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO.
On completion of the selection procedure we will keep your application documents for a further 2 to 3 months and then delete them and any copies that have been made unless, that is, we have signed a contract of employment with you.

12. Cookies
We use so-called cookies in some parts of our website in order, for example, to identify visitor preferences and design the website optimally. That makes navigation easier along with a high level of website user-friendliness. Cookies also help us to identify especially popular areas of our website.
